Cranberry Mincemeat Pie image

This simple recipe was clipped from a local newspaper about 6 years ago. The tartness of the cranberries nicely balances the spicy sweetness of the mincemeat.

This pie was a disappointment. The filling was too tart and the crust was soggy. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong.

I was a bit hesitant to try this pie because I'm not a big fan of mincemeat, but I'm so glad I did! The cranberry really mellows out the flavor of the mincemeat, and the pie is perfectly sweet and tart. I'll definitely be making this pie again.

I've tried many mincemeat pies, but this one is by far the best. The cranberry adds a lovely tartness that complements the sweetness of the mincemeat. The crust is also perfect - flaky and buttery.

This cranberry mincemeat pie was a hit at our holiday gathering! The filling was tart and sweet, with a perfect balance of spices. The crust was flaky and golden brown. I will definitely be making this pie again.
