I just love these bars. I look forward to the holiday season when fresh cranberries are abundant. A friend of the family gave me this recipe years ago and when I make them the smells of them baking fills the house with memories of Christmas.

These bars were a bit too crumbly for my taste. I think I would use a different type of flour next time.

I've made these bars several times now, and they're always a crowd-pleaser. They're easy to make and always turn out perfectly. I love that I can make them ahead of time and then just pop them in the oven when I'm ready to serve them.
