CRANBERRY APPLE RELISH image

Yield 8 cups

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 Navel oranges
2 cups of firm packed lt. br. sugar
2 lbs. fresh cranberries
1/4 teas. ground allspice
2 Granny Smith apples, pealed and chopped

Steps:

  • Grate 2 teas. of orange rine; squeeze the oranges and add additional orange juice to make 2 cups. ombinbe juice and sugar in a large saucepan, bring to a boil. Add cranberries and allspice, and reduce heat to a simmer ( 5 minutes or until berries start popping). Remove from heat, add apples and rind; cool. Chill well. Makes 8 cups.
