Cranberry-Apple Relish image

1 pound fresh cranberries
3 medium apples, unpeeled
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup celery, sliced
2 tablespoons crystallized ginger, chopped (optional)
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
3 tablespoons Cherry Heering
1/2 cup sugar

Steps:

  • Coarsely chop cranberries and apples in food processor and transfer to a bowl.
  • Combine remaining ingredients with the fruit and refrigerate, covered, overnight or two days before serving.
