Cranberries in the Snow, Grandma W. image

Grandma W got good at making jello salads!

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 pkg raspberry jello
13 1/2 oz crushed pineapple
12 oz ginger ale
2 c whole cranberry sauce
16 oz cool whip lite
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 c chopped pecans
1 tsp butter
1 jar(s) spiced apple rings

Steps:

  • 1. Drain pineapple and apple, save syrup. Make 1 c liquid and heat to boiling, dissolve jello and cool. Gently stir in ginger ale, chill until partially set. Blend pineapple with cranberry, fold into jello. Turn into mold and chill firm. Combine cool whip and cream cheese, spread over jello. Toast pecans in butter 10 min at 350 degrees, sprinkle on top and chill.
