Steps:
- 1. In sauce pan melt butter on medium heat.
- 2. Add onions, green onion, garlic, celery, bell pepper and simmer 5 minutes.
- 3. Add flour a little at a time stirring until all mixed.
- 4. Cook 5 more minutes stirring constantly, make sure no flour sticks; be sure your stove is on low.
- 5. Slowly add whipping cream, stirring constantly until all is added.
- 6. Add cream cheese and blend until melted. Cook until mixture thickens.
- 7. Stir in salt, peppers, egg yolks stir another 1-2 minutes.
- 8. Add panko crumbs.
- 9. Remove from heat and fold in crab meat and half of the cheddar cheese until mixed well.
- 10. Try not to break up lumps of crab meat too much.
- 11. Put in a greased dish and spread remaining cheese on top.
- 12. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese begins to brown.
