Exchanging postcards is another one of my hobbies. This recipe is from one of my postcards. I wanted to have the recipe--and try it--before I sent the card. The back of the card says the recipe is from JoAnne Bottoms of Eureka, Texas.

Steps:
- 1. Cream butter and sugars together. Add vanilla and mix well.
- 2. Add eggs, flour, salt, and soda.
- 3. Add oats, coconut, and chocolate chips. Mix well.
- 4. Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
