Country French Cheese image

This recipe can also be made with fat-free equivalents of cream cheese, shredded Cheddar and salad dressing to reduce the amount of calories. Serve with your favorite crackers.

½ pound bacon - cooked and crumbled
1 pound cream cheese
½ pound shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
½ cup French dressing
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the bacon, cream cheese, Cheddar cheese and salad dressing. Mix together well and form into a ball.
  • In a shallow dish, mix together the parsley and chopped walnuts. Roll cheese ball in mixture to coat. Refrigerate until chilled.
