CORNBREAD SALAD
my mother made this often as i was growing up. she had 10 children and we grew our own vegetables. this was a favorite of ours in the summertime. it is so good served cold! i hope everyoe enjoys this delicious recipe as much as i have over the years. my boys love it.

Steps:
- 1. bake cornbread as directed. allow to cool completely.
- 2. crumble cornbread in a large mixing bowl. add remaining ingredients. set aside fresh bacon bits. mix throughly. allow to chill in fridge until chilled. add hot bacon bits when served. enjoy!
