Steps:
- 1. Arrange several layers of sliced potatoes, diced onions, chopped pimentos, diced green peppers and shredded cheese, ending with a layer of sliced potatoes and cheese on top.
- 2. Combine 1 cup hot water with the cream of mushroom soup, celery salt, salt and pepper. Pour over the potatoes.
- 3. Oven to 350 degrees. COVER and bake for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours until tender and thickened.
