Coconut Upside Down Cake image

This cake is so good, a nice change from pineapple upside down cake... All it needs is a dollop of whipped cream on top. Serve it warm or cold (I prefer it warm topped with whipped cream or Cool Whip).

I'm allergic to coconut, so I substituted almond milk and chopped almonds in the recipe. It turned out great!

This cake is a bit too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe next time.

This cake is a great way to use up leftover coconut. I always have a can of coconut milk in my pantry, so it's easy to whip up a batch of this cake whenever I'm craving something sweet.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my cake didn't turn out as fluffy as I expected. I'm not sure what went wrong.

The cake was a little dry, but the coconut topping was amazing. I would definitely make this cake again, but I would add some extra moisture to the cake batter.

I'm not a huge fan of coconut, but this cake was surprisingly good. The cake itself was light and airy, and the coconut topping added just the right amount of sweetness.

This coconut upside-down cake was a hit at my last dinner party! The cake was moist and fluffy, and the coconut topping was perfectly caramelized. I even got a few requests for the recipe.
