This recipe is out of a cook book from the 70's, one of those recipe books that a lot of ladies donate recipes to for a fundraiser. I had never made it before and I was not sure of good it would be. It is surprisingly delicious and everyone loved it..

This cake was a bit too dense for my taste, but the flavor was good. I think I would try a different recipe next time.
