Coconut Candy Centers image

I have been making these for my father in law since I married his son 21 years ago. These taste a lot like the bounty bars I use to get as a child. Every Christmas I include these in the dessert trays I make. I am unsure of the cooking time as I have never timed it.

I've tried this recipe a few times and I've never been able to get the candies to set properly. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I'm not a huge fan of coconut, but I really enjoyed these candies. They're not too sweet and the coconut flavor is subtle.
