When we were kids, we always called these yip yips. I guess that is a Midwestern thing. I've been looking for a sloppy joe recipe that tasted like my mom's for years (she always just threw it together and I could never get the taste) and finally found it. Since we're Pepsi lovers, I substituted it for the Coca Cola.

[email protected]I'm not a big fan of sloppy joes, but I have to say, these Coca-Cola sloppy joes were pretty darn good. The sauce was flavorful and the meat was tender. I would definitely make them again.
