Our family loves pecan pie. Everyone in the South does, so we're not an exception. I've tried many recipes, but this one, on the Karo Syrup bottle, is delicious. Try it; you'll like it! Photo: http://karosyrup.com/recipe_details.asp?id=485

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350.
- 2. In large bowl, stir eggs, sugar, syrup, butter, and vanilla until well blended. Sometimes I use an electric mixer, and sometimes I stir by hand. Either way is fine.
- 3. Stir in pecans and pour into pie crust.
- 4. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until a table knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
- 5. For our family, a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of warm pie is a must!
