Cinnamon Raisin Oat Triangles image

I created this recipe when my sons were little. This treat packs well in a lunch. Back in the days when newspapers printed recipes, I sent this one in to the Kansas City Star when they were requesting lunchbox desserts. Happy to report it was published with great reviews.

These oat triangles were good, but not as good as I was hoping. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but these oat triangles turned out really bland. I think I might have forgotten to add the cinnamon.

These oat triangles were really easy to make, but they didn't turn out very well. They were too dry and crumbly.

These were a bit too sweet for my taste, but I think I just added too much cinnamon. Next time I'll cut back on the cinnamon.
