Ciambella Della Nonna - Italian Breakfast Cake image

For many years my mother prepared this ring-shaped cake for our breakfast! My children love this super easy ciambella too. They spread some margarine and sugar over the slices and Yum... This is a souvenir in honor of my parents!

This cake was a bit of a disappointment. It was dry and the custard filling was grainy. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong.

This cake is a keeper! I've made it several times now and it always turns out perfect. It's so moist and flavorful, and the custard filling is to die for. I love that it's not too sweet, so it's perfect for breakfast or a snack.

I'm not a fan of custard, so I was hesitant to try this cake. But I'm glad I did! The cake itself was moist and flavorful, and the pine nuts added a nice crunch. I would definitely make this cake again, even without the custard filling.

This cake was a disaster! It didn't rise properly and the custard filling curdled. I had to throw the whole thing away. I'm not sure what went wrong.

I thought this cake was just okay. It was a bit dry and the custard filling was not very flavorful. I wouldn't make this cake again.

This was my first time making ciambella della nonna, and I was really happy with the results. The cake was moist and flavorful, and the custard filling was creamy and rich. I will definitely be making this cake again.

This cake was easy to make and turned out great! The only thing I would change is to add more pine nuts. Other than that, it was perfect.

I made this cake for my grandmother's birthday, and she loved it! She said it was the best ciambella della nonna she had ever had. I was so happy that I was able to make her happy.

This cake was a bit more work than I expected, but it was worth it! The end result was a beautiful and delicious cake that was perfect for a special occasion. The custard filling was especially good.

I've tried many ciambella della nonna recipes, but this one is by far the best. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the cake turned out perfectly. It was so moist and fluffy, and the custard filling was rich and creamy. I will definit
