Christmas Cherry Cheesecake Bars image

This dessert is so good it seems a shame to have Christmas in the title. This is so good year around. Even though it is cheesecake it does not need to be baked in a cheesecake pan -it can be baked in a pie pan or in a square pan. This is so simple , you will make it often using different fruit each time.

I was so excited to try this recipe, but I was disappointed with the results. The crust was too dry and the filling was too runny.

These bars were a little too sweet for my taste, but my kids loved them. I think I'll try making them again with less sugar next time.
