Chow Mein Hot Dish image

I grew up on this easy meal. I still love it and so do my kids. Use store brand soups, you'll never notice a difference, and because you drain and rinse the meat, you can use cheaper ground beef if you like! If you have a casserole that can go from stove top to oven, this is a one dish meal!!! Enjoy!

This recipe was a bit too spicy for me, but I think that's because I used too much chili sauce. I'll definitely try it again with less chili sauce next time.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my chow mein hot dish turned out really dry. I think I might have overcooked the noodles.

This dish was a bit bland for my taste, but I think that's because I didn't add enough soy sauce. I'll definitely try it again with more soy sauce next time.
