2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Hershey's® Kisses® Brand mint or candy cane flavored candies

  • In medium bowl, mix flour, baking cocoa, baking powder and salt; set aside.

These cookies were a disaster! They spread out too much in the oven and turned out flat. I think I overmixed the dough.

These cookies were a bit too sweet for my taste, but they were still good. I think I would cut the sugar in half next time.

I'm not a big fan of mint, but I really enjoyed these cookies. The chocolate flavor was rich and decadent, and the mint was just a hint in the background. They were also really easy to make.
