Chocolate Cobbler Recipe - (4/5) image

TOPPING:
1 1/2 sticks margarine
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
3/4 cups milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 1/2 cups boiling water

Steps:

  • Melt butter in the oven in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. In a large bowl, mix flour, 1 1/4 cups sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa together. Add milk and vanilla and mix well. Pour mixture over melted butter in the casserole dish; do not stir. Mix together topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter; do not stir. Pour boiling water overtop; do not stir. Bake at 350°F for 35 mins. Bottom of dish will be runny.
