Chocolate Cinnamon Cookies image

A nice mix of chocolate and cinnamon. Perfect with a cup of cinnamon tea.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 1/4 c flour
1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
10 Tbsp butter, at room temperature
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c sugar in the raw
1 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  • 3. Beat butter and sugars, until creamy.
  • 4. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • 5. Add in the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  • 6. Mix together sugar in the raw and cinnamon.
  • 7. Scoop dough into small balls, then roll in cinnamon sugar.
  • 8. Place on cookie sheet and bake 12 minutes.
  • 9. Cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes, then cool completely on wire rack.
  • 10. Enjoy!
