Chocolate-Banana Pie. image

I came up with this pie last year for the Fourth of July cookout.

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 ripe bananas
1 box jell-o instant banana pudding
1 box jell-o instant chocolate pudding
1 can(s) rediwhip
1 graham cracker crust
4 c milk, divided

Steps:

  • 1. In a bowl, prepare the chocolate pudding according to directions. Pour into pie crust. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  • 2. Peel and slice bananas. Discard ends. Carefully layer the slices over the chocolate pudding. Reserve 8 banana slices. Dip those 8 slices in lemon juice to keep from turning dark.
  • 3. Prepare banana pudding according to directions. Pour over the banana slices. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
  • 4. Decorate the top of the pie with the reserved banana slices and whipped cream.
