Chocolate Arrowroot Cookies (No Gluten, No Sugar) image

This is a alteration of my Recipe #401548, a ginger version. These are a tasty little chocolate cookie without sugar or grains. If you didn't want nuts, you could leave them out but might want a bit more arrowroot. These are mixed all in the saucepan you start with and are so good I usually make a double batch.

I'm not a huge fan of arrowroot cookies, but these were actually pretty good. The chocolate flavor was rich and the cookies were nice and chewy.

These cookies were a bit too dry for my taste. I think I'll try adding some more butter next time.

I made these cookies for a gluten-free friend and they were a huge hit! She said they were the best gluten-free cookies she'd ever had. I thought they were pretty good too, even though I'm not gluten-free myself.

These cookies were a bit of a disappointment. The texture was dry and crumbly, and the chocolate flavor was weak. I also found them to be too sweet for my taste.
