I had this dish at a wedding banquet and it was very good. The sweet lychee nicely compliments the apples and shrimp. I have also tried this dish with potatoes instead of apples, it's not as sweet, or try it with both. Great for light summer dinner, or as a surprising potluck dish.

The shrimp in this salad was overcooked and rubbery. I would recommend cooking the shrimp for less time.

I found this salad to be a bit bland. I would recommend adding more spices or herbs to give it more flavor.

This salad is a bit too spicy for my taste. I would recommend using less chili sauce or omitting it altogether.
