Chicken Salad Tea Room Style image

This is my version of a local tea room/ice cream shop that serves the best chicken salad I've ever had. What makes it so good is the contrast of sweet fruit, the crunchiness of the nuts and a hint of tangy lemon.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my chicken salad turned out really dry. I think I might have overcooked the chicken.

I'm allergic to grapes, so I substituted them with diced apples. It was still delicious!

I found this recipe to be a bit bland. I added some extra salt and pepper and it was much better.

This chicken salad is a bit too mayonnaise-y for my taste. I would recommend using less mayonnaise or adding some other ingredients to balance out the flavor.
