CHEWY BUTTERSCOTCH BARS image

Number Of Ingredients 12

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup crushed peacans
1/3 cup butterscotch morsels
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large egg whites
Cooking spray
Low fat chocolate syrup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Combine flour, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, oats, and baking powder and stir. Set aside. Combine oil, vanilla, and egg whites, and add to the flour mixture, stirring just until blended. Press the batter evenly into an 8-inch square baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 18 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Lightly drizzle with the low fat chocolate syrup.
