Got this recipe years ago, off of a package of cream cheese. I've gone on to use springform pans to make regular cheesecakes, but then we come back to this tried & true recipe! It just has the right combination of cream cheese and cherries. It's a Criswell family favorite!

Steps:
- 1. Mix together softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended.
- 2. Add eggs, mixing well.
- 3. Pour into crust. Bake at 325 degrees for approx. 40 minutes or until done.
- 4. After cheesecake has cooled, top with cherry pie filling (or other topping of your choice).
- 5. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight, before serving.
