This is a very old recipe cut out of the paper by my Mom many years ago. I think it is very different from any other bread I have seen. I like to make a confectioner's sugar and milk glaze with some cherry juice over the loaf.

This loaf was a bit too dry for my taste, but the flavor was still good. I think I might add some extra butter or oil to the batter next time. Overall, it was a good recipe and I'd recommend it to others.
