Cheesy Morel Pie image

In Northern Michigan, Morel Mushrooms are a big deal, they are by far the best mushroom I have ever tasted. But if you can't get morels then your favorite mushrooms will also work. This is a wonderfully tasty pie and will be a big hit whenever you make it.

I've made this pie several times and it's always a hit. It's a great way to use up leftover chicken or turkey.

I'm not a big fan of mushrooms, but I loved this pie. The morels were cooked perfectly and they didn't have a strong flavor.

I'm a vegetarian, so I substituted the chicken broth for vegetable broth. The pie still turned out great!

This recipe was a disaster! The filling was bland and the crust was soggy. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong.

This pie was a bit too rich for my taste, but my husband loved it. I think next time I'll use less cheese.

I was skeptical about this recipe because I've never cooked with morels before, but it turned out amazing! The filling was creamy and flavorful, and the crust was perfectly golden brown.

This recipe was easy to follow and the pie turned out great! I used a store-bought pie crust to save time, but I think it would be even better with a homemade one.

I'm not a huge fan of morels, but this pie was surprisingly delicious. The cheese and cream sauce really mellowed out the flavor of the mushrooms.
