Steps:
- 1. Cook noodles according to package. Drain. Return to pot and leave on low heat.
- 2. Add butter, sour cream, tuna water and cheese packets to pot. Stir until butter melts. (No milk needed - the sour cream and tuna water take its place.)
- 3. Add tuna, soup, cheese, chiles, peas, and seasonings and stir well.
- 4. Pour into a square or 9 x 13 sprayed or greased (buttered) pan. Top with optional toppings (above).
- 5. Bake @ 350 on top rack, uncovered for 30 mins. Crumbs should be nice and crunchy, but ovens vary so check after 20 mins to make sure crumbs are not burning.
