Cheesy BLT Salad image

"Frank's Salad" is what this was called at Palm's Cafe in Columbus, Indiana. When my new husband and I were just out of college with little money for entertainment or dining out, we enjoyed this salad often. It has remained a favorite in a family that grew from two to seven. -Maxine Wheeler, Columbus, Indiana

This salad was a bit bland for my taste. I think I'll add some more seasonings next time.

The bacon in this salad was a bit too crispy for me. I think I'll cook it for a shorter amount of time next time.

This salad is a bit too heavy for my taste. I think I'll try making it with a lighter dressing next time.

I'm not a huge fan of tomatoes, so I omitted them from my salad. It was still delicious!
