CASA D'ANGELO SALAD image

Number Of Ingredients 18

Salad:
Iceberg lettuce
Romaine lettuce
Red pepper, diced
Shredded cheese: 1/2 cup provolone, 1/2 cup mozzarella, 1/4 cup romano, 1/4 cup parmesan)
Dressing:
2 cups olive oil
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
3T sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp pepper
3/4 tsp oregano
6 anchovies (optional)
Croutons:
6 English muffins, cubed
1/2 cup Casa dressing
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Combine dry dressing ingredients in blender, then pour olive oil in a stream. For croutons, toss ingredients together and bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees. Check every 5 minutes until light brown. Add dressing to salad ingredients 15 minutes before serving. Add croutons and serve.
