Caramel Chex Mix image

This wonderfully crunchy snack is loaded with cereal, pretzels and nuts-and coated with a not-too-sweet brown sugar mixture. Package this up as gifts, or set out a bowl at your party and watch it disappear by the handful. -Samantha Moyer, Oskaloosa, Iowa

I had some trouble getting the caramel to coat the Chex Mix evenly. I ended up adding a little bit of water to the caramel to thin it out.

This recipe is a bit too sweet for my taste. I would recommend using less caramel next time.

I'm not a fan of caramel, but I still liked this recipe. The Chex Mix is still delicious without the caramel.
