I have made this pie quite a lot. I originally got the recipe from a very old farm Journal cook book from my Mom. I have changed the recipe slightly through the years. The buttery, sugar Pecan bottom sets this pie above others. It is really yummy! Use your crust of choice, and enjoy!

[email protected]This pie is a bit too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of sugar in the filling by half.

[email protected]The only thing I would change about this recipe is to use a different type of crust. I used a pre-made crust, but I think a homemade crust would be even better.

[email protected]This Caramel Apple Pecan Pie was a hit at my Thanksgiving dinner! The crust was flaky and buttery, the filling was gooey and sweet, and the pecans added a nice crunch. I will definitely be making this again.
