cooking spray
1 apple, peeled and cut into very small pieces
1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar, or to taste
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 teaspoons caramel ice cream topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
  • Combine apple and cinnamon sugar in a bowl; mix until evenly coated.
  • Divide crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Spoon about 1 teaspoon apple mixture onto each triangle and top with 1/2 teaspoon caramel sauce. Roll crescent dough around the filling, bringing the ends together and squeezing to completely contain the filling. Sprinkle a little more cinnamon sugar on top of each crescent roll. Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until crescent rolls are lightly browned, 11 to 13 minutes.

I've made these several times now and they are always a hit. They are so easy to make and they always turn out perfect. I love that I can make them ahead of time and they still taste great.

These were a bit too sweet for my taste, but they were still good. I think I would use less caramel next time.

These were so easy to make and turned out so cute! I used Granny Smith apples and they were the perfect tartness to balance out the sweetness of the caramel. I will definitely be making these again!
