This is a must-do the next time you have guests! Don't want to cook with alcohol? Try using balsamic vinegar instead.

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 Tbsp brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Tbsp pecans and/or almonds
1 1/2 tsp brandy
8 oz brie, firm and ripe
sliced apples
crackers
sliced baguette

Steps:

  • 1. Stir together brown sugar, nuts, and brandy. Place cheese in a baking dish a little larger than the Brie wheel. Bake at 425 for about 6 minutes until cheese begins to soften in the middle.
  • 2. Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the cheese.
  • 3. Bake until the sugar melts (3-5 minutes more).
  • 4. Serve with apples, crackers or sliced baguettes. *You can use a 17.6 oz wheel of Brie for this recipe for a larger crowd. Just triple the other ingredients.

This dip is not bad, but it's not the best I've ever had. I would probably make it again if I had all the ingredients on hand.

I'm not a fan of brie, but I thought this dip was pretty good. I would definitely make it again with a different type of cheese.

This dip is a good starting point, but I would add some additional spices to give it more flavor.

This dip is okay, but it's not anything special. I wouldn't make it again.

This dip is not worth the effort. It's not that good and it's a lot of work to make.

This dip is way too expensive to make. I can buy a similar dip at the store for half the price.

I followed the recipe exactly and my dip turned out runny. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

This dip is a little too sweet for my taste. I would recommend using less sugar in the candied nuts.

I'm not a huge fan of brie, but I loved this dip. The sweetness of the candied nuts and the creaminess of the brie were a perfect combination.
