CAJUN CABBAGE image

This recipe came in with my light bill. I cooked it the next day and everyone loved it. Hope you do.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 lb spicy sausage
1/2 lb ground beef or turkey
1 can(s) rorel tomatoes
1 c chopped onion
1 can(s) diced tomatoes
1 tsp cajun seasoning ( i use tony's)
8 c coarsely cut cabbage
1/4 c butter
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Cook sausage and ground beef together in a skillet until no longer pink.Drain well and pour in bottom of crock pot. And next 4 ingredients,DO NOT STIR Put cabbage on top. DO NOT STIR
  • 2. Cook on high for 3 hours.Add butter and salt and pepper.Continue cooking for one hour.
