Cabbage and Sausage Soup image

This is a delightful soup to warm you - body and soul - on a cold day. The combination of the cabbage and smoked sausage is very tasty, indeed!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 can(s) Crushed Tomatoes, 28 oz.
1 can(s) Diced Tomatoes, 15 oz.
1 Head of Cabbage, chopped into bite size pieces
32 oz beef broth
4 Sliced Carrots
1 medium White Onion, chopped
water, as needed
4 medium Potatoes, quartered
1 pkg Smoked Sausage

Steps:

  • 1. In large pot or Dutch Oven, combine all ingredients and bring to simmer. Cook until carrots and potatoes are just fork tender.
