Steps:
- 1. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, creaming well. Add water and vanilla. Beat well. Blend in flour, salt and pecans; mix well. Chill for easier handling, if desired. Shape dough, approximately 1 tbsp. at a time, by rolling between hands into strips about 3 inches long. Curve dough in shape of crescent or half moon. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350* for 12-15 minutes. or until set but not brown. Cool; roll in confectioners sugar.
