Broiled Orange Roughy image

You can use perch, cod, whiting, or any other raw fish that comes in filets.

Number Of Ingredients 4

orange roughy; enough for one filet each.
2 Tbsp melted butter
1-2 tsp concentrated lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Let fish thaw then place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • 2. Mix melted butter and lemon juice together. Spread over each filet with a brush or spoon.
  • 3. Set oven temperature to broil and insert the baking sheet. After two minutes, pull out the baking sheet and turn over filets. Baste with lemon butter. Re-insert into the oven and broil until tender and flaky.
