Broiled Coconut Topping image

1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 cup shredded or flaked coconut
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
3 tablespoons half and half, or milk

Steps:

  • 1. In small saucepan, melt margarine. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Spread over warm cake.2. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until bubbly and light golden brown.
