Broccoli and Rice Soup image

My husband asked me to make him something relatively mild for his stomach. He was coming off a cleans and didn't want to upset his stomach too much right off the bat. I thought soup should do the trick. He loved it. Hope you do as well. Note: I used Great Valley Rice Medley from Costco

This soup is a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. It's also a very healthy and affordable meal. I like to add a bit of ground beef or sausage to make it even more hearty.

This soup was a bit too bland for my taste. I added some extra salt and pepper, but it still wasn't very flavorful. I won't be making this again.

I'm not a huge fan of broccoli, but this soup was surprisingly good. The flavors of the broccoli and cheese really complemented each other. I would definitely make this again.

Meh. Not a fan of this soup. It was bland and the rice was overcooked. I won't be making this again.

I love how simple this recipe is, yet the soup is so flavorful. I used brown rice instead of white, and it worked out great. Highly recommend!
