Broccoli Almondine image

2 lbs fresh broccoli
1/4 cup butter
2 minced green onions
1/4 cup sliced almonds
2 teaspoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Cook broccoli, drain and keep warm.
  • Heat butter until melted, then add green onions and almonds and stir over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice, salt and pepper and pour the sauce over the broccoli.
