I'm gluten-free, so I used a gluten-free flour blend to make these pastry cups. They turned out just as good as the traditional version. I'm so glad I can still enjoy this delicious treat!

I made a few substitutions to make these pastry cups healthier. I used whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour, and I used reduced-fat brie. The cups were still delicious, and they were a lot better for me.

I added a teaspoon of ground nutmeg to the filling, and it really took these pastry cups to the next level. The nutmeg added a warm and spicy flavor that complemented the brie and cherries perfectly.

I've tried many brie pastry recipes, but this one is by far the best. The secret is in the homemade pastry dough. It's so light and flaky, and it pairs perfectly with the creamy brie and sweet cherries.
