Braised Garlic-Ginger Chops image

4 boneless pork chops, about 3/4-inch thick
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 c hoisin sauce
1/4 c water
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp ginger, grated
2 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 dash(es) hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 2. Brown chops about 2-3 minutes on each side; add hoisin sauce, water, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, onion powder and hot pepper sauce to skillet.
  • 3. Cover tightly and simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
