I love cabbage and squash. I decided to combine the two with my all time favorite "BACON"...The combination of the three with the sweet garlic vinaigrette made this one great side dish. Cooking with Passion! sw:)

Steps:
- 1. in a large heated skillet, fry bacon pieces until crispy. remove bacon and set aside
- 2. add onions to the rendered bacon fat, sautee onions until translucent. add pepper, italian seasoning and garlic
- 3. add cabbage to the skillet, sautee for about a minute. add squash, parsley add salt
- 4. sautee for an additinal 4-5 minutes. add vinaigrette and braise for a couple of minutes until squash is fork tender. do not over cook
- 5. on a large platter add you veggie medley and top with crisy bacon. ENJOY!
