I made this for my parents and brothers one night and they couldn't get enough and my brothers don't really like lasagna.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 425.
- 2. Grease 13x9 rectangular baking dish.
- 3. In large pot boil 4 qts water and partially cook pasta for half of the directed time.
- 4. In large skillet heat oil over medium heat, add onion and saute 1 minute.
- 5. Stir in beef and cook until lightly browned about 3 minutes.
- 6. Add spaghetti sauce and bring to a boil.
- 7. Reduce heat to low and partially cover the skillet, simmer for 5 minutes.
- 8. In small bowl mix ricotta or cottage cheese with egg and Parmesan.
- 9. Drain the pasta thoroughly, layer half the pasta in the pan.
- 10. Spoon half the meat mixture over the pasta.
- 11. Spoon cheese mixture over the meat.
- 12. Sprinkle with half the mozzarella.
- 13. Make another layer with the remaining pasta, then the meat, then the mozzarella.
- 14. Cover pan with foil, spraying the inside facing the cheese with cooking spray.
- 15. Bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 8-10 minutes or until heated through.
