this is a good recipe i do not drink but i do cook with all kinds of wine and different liquids it does cook away just add flavor

1 lb package wieners
1/2 c chili sauce
2/3 c brown sugar
1/2 c bourbon

Steps:

  • 1. cut frankfurters diagonally into bite size pieces. combine chili sauce, sugar and bourbon in a small crock pot.
  • 2. stir in frankfurters and cook on low for 1-2 hours. serve in a chafing dish.
