Skewers of blueberries (optional)

I followed the recipe exactly, but my shrub turned out too tart. I think I'll add a little more sugar next time.

This shrub is a great way to use up fresh blueberries. I had a bunch of blueberries that were about to go bad, and this recipe was the perfect way to use them up.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my shrub turned out really thick and syrupy. I think I might have cooked it for too long.

This recipe is a great starting point, but I think it needs some tweaking. I added a little bit of lemon juice and honey, and it really improved the flavor.

I was disappointed with this recipe. The blueberry shrub was too sweet for my taste, and it didn't have much flavor.

I'm not usually a big fan of shrubs, but this one is really good. It's not too sweet or tart, and it has a really nice, complex flavor.
